Our Facilities

 

Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten: Located on the corner of Lombard and Columbus street in the heart of North Beach, our space (April 2016) has over 1,500 sq.ft. of indoor space and an ample outdoor play area. Convenient metered parking and yellow zones for drop off and pick up.

Infant and Toddler: We are happy to announce our new location (January 2022) at 728 Broadway Street that boasts over 2,500 sq.ft. of separate indoor space, as well as adjacent outdoor area. There are 2 white zone parking spaces for easy drop off and pick up.

 

Indoor Activities

​Our facilities are fun, safe playing and learning space full of imaginative, theatrical, manipulative, and hands-on tools and activities for every child's preference, learning pace, group interaction and expressive play.

Outdoor Activities

In addition to our adjacent, outdoor spaces, we utilize our very own "backyard". Our neighborhood is very important to the ideals and goals behind North Beach Kids, and it is just as important to teach the children about the special city and neighborhood that they live, play, and learn in. 

 

On any given day, you can see the smiling faces of the North Beach Kids as they climb the hills of North Beach and Telegraph Hill, say hello to their friends as they walk through Chinatown, bark at the seals at Pier 39, and practice their Tai Chi in Washington Square Park. The teachers and children of North Beach Kids are as much a staple and icon of the neighborhood as the spires of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Pier 39, and Coit Tower. Oh, and we have our own urban garden plot a couple blocks away!
